“We are visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow and to love... and then we return home.”

This Australia Day we invite you to follow the calling of this Aboriginal proverb. To observe, to learn, to grow and to love.

We acknowledge, celebrate and respect the traditional custodians of the land to which we call home. We pay our respect to the elders past, present and future. As a country we need to heal, honour and embrace a future together as one people.

Take time to observe the amazing, wondrous land we call home. See and listen to the natural beauty that surrounds us. Embrace the land, the sea, the sky and the life that abounds with in it.

Empower yourself with knowledge. Seek to learn of the traditional custodian of this beautiful land. Learn about the complete interconnectedness they share with the land, the stories they tell, their love of the land. Understand and embrace the knowledge that comes from thousands of years of culture and connection.

Through growing, broadening and developing our connectedness with nature, with community, and with people we can become one. One people, one nation. On this day reassess, explore, consider; As an individual you can make a difference, as a community we can make a future.

Diversity and inclusion; these are the foundations of a strong community.

This AUSTRALIA DAY begin a journey.

Observe, learn, grow and love.

Embrace all that makes our country the rich and plentiful country it is. We are one, and we are many, we come from all around this earth, we share a hope and dream that can start today with the journey to healing for the future.
