• Want to live like the Goddess you are?

If you are anything like me, you have a fairy crazy busy life with so many things coming at us at rapid fire to stress us out and pull us off our centre. Whether it's the emails, the social media, the kids or simply the endless pressure we place on ourselves to be more and do more it's enough to drive a goddess bananas!

So let's stop... take a deep breath... get a cup of tea and take the pressure off, even if just for a moment. I know these feelings all too well and spent much of my last 15 years in a spin cycle on unhelpful thinking and behaviour. I have learnt so much along my journey from burnt out party girl to the juicy natural goddess I am today.

Here are some of my daily rituals and practices that have helped me reclaim my goddess power. I hope they help you too...

Check in with yourself by placing one hand on your belly and the other hand on your heart, or perhaps both hands over your womb, the space of your creative power, and ask “How am I feeling in this moment?” and be with whatever comes up for you and shape your day in response to this feeling. Perhaps you feel sad, or overwhelmed or tired and therefore jumping out of bed and racing off to the gym is not the answer in this moment. Although we may not all have the luxury of hiding under the covers, sipping tea and nibbling on raw chocolate all day we can honour how we feel be going easier on ourselves.

Rise with the sun, and take a moment to gaze at its powerful light, welcoming its solar energy into your being. Even better place your feet on the earth and drink in the energy as you say a prayer of gratitude for this beautiful day...

Breathe deeply into your belly, and settle yourself for your morning meditation. I like to hold my two favourite crystals and ground my energy into the earth, activating my prana tube and feeling myself filling with white or rainbow light. After your meditation smile to each part of your body and send every organ, every single inch of your being a healing shower of love. Even take a moment to touch your body with a gentle caress, acknowledging your gratitude for how magical and wondrous you are (YES you are MAGICAL)!

Ask your body how it wants to move today... perhaps a yoga practice, qi gong, tai chi or maybe you want to turn the music up loud and dance around your bedroom. Whatever you do it with all your awareness and consciousness. Allow your body and spirit to find union in the movement.

Look at yourself in the mirror (right in the eyes) with an unwavering glance for 10 minutes seeing your original and beautiful face. Seeing your wisdom, seeing your real-ness, seeing your power, passion and intensity. Seeing your ancestors in your face and connecting to the lineage of memories that you are carrying in every cell of your being.

State your daily affirmations out loud and with pure intention. Here are some affirmations I love to incant or add your own simply starting with I AM...

  • I am a beautiful being of light
  • I am healing, healthy and whole
  • I am awake to my gifts
  • I am raising my vibration
  • I am creativity personified
  • I am compassionate and loving in my relationships
  • I am blossoming
  • I am magical
  • I am abundant and all my projects are flowing effortlessly
  • I am moving in harmony with the Universe
  • I am healing the planet with my powerful vibration
  • I give permission to my higher self, angels, ascended masters who love me unconditionally to help me with stepping into my radiance or [insert subject here]

Prepare a whole food breakfast with love, even making the preparation process an act of sensuality. The more conscious awareness we can infuse our cooking and eating with the more we fill our food with rich information and sacred geometry and deep love that our cells crave.

Dress like a goddess putting awareness into your choice of clothing. I like to wear natural fibers and beautiful jewellery; head pieces, scarves and the special treasures I have collected on my travels that make me feel like a priestess. I laugh as I write this because in my heart I know we do not really need this finery to emphasise our inner beauty but it still feels good as an act of self love to take pride and feel good in our individual beauty and radiance. When you feel sexy and powerful, you are sexy and powerful... let's channel this power into everything we do

Move out into your day with a sense of wonder and gratitude. Notice the colours, notice the smells, notice the energy of the people, the plants, the tress, the LIFE around you. Try to stay in this space of amazement and love for all that is.

I urge you to try these daily ritials on and see how you feel… observe the changes in your being, in your energy… in the way your perceive the world.

And yes my dear Goddess, there will still be moments when you feel pulled off your centre and when they do come try this…

Take three deep breaths and find your way back into your heart... into the space of love and compassion.

When you encounter a difficult situation (perhaps a traffic jam, a demanding boss) send waves of love and compassion out rather than waves of judgment, anger and reactivity.

Observe yourself when the moments of dark arise, when your shadow shows itself...

notice them, bring yourself back into a space of grounding and let them go...

Let go of the heavy luggage you are carrying around with you with a deep exhale or sigh... or even shake the feeling out of your body... the heaviness or tightness in your chest. It’s time for you to be free!

Free from the stress, free from the past, free from the worries about work, life, love... free from worrying about what will happen in the future...

Free from anything but the wonder of the present moment...

Know that we have free will to choose how we are feeling in every moment so make the choice to feel magical today!
